HEC Chairman statement about the failure of the Education system in Pakistan goes viral
HEC Chairman’s latest statement goes viral in which he said that Our education system can produce neither good students nor good citizens.
HEC Chairman Dr Tariq Banuri express his thoughts about the education system of Pakistan in Karachi Literature Festival 2022. He said that country has been paying price of blunders made in its education system.
Pakistani universities should be made independent and provided scholastic opportunities to form their students into productive members of society. This was the agreement reached by the members of a meeting that examined advanced education in Pakistan on the second day of the Karachi Literature Festival 2022.
The speakers at the meeting ‘Advanced education: Creating Good Citizens, not simply Good Students’, directed by Fauzia Shamim likewise perceived the requirement for significant changes in the country’s schooling strategies and framework.
We can see that there are different education systems in Pakistan. A poor family can not achieve or compete with the rich families because their education system is different and their level of education is very high. So the majority of talent of Pakistan in villages & small cities is behind their targets and that’s why Pakistan could not produce good citizens and researchers.
