Important Announcement of Local Holidays in Islamabad from 22 March 2022 to 24 March 2022. This notification of local holidays from 22 March to 24 March is issued today by Cabinet Division.

23rd March is a public holiday due to Pakistan’s Day while 22 & 24 March local holidays only in Islamabad are due to a session of the OIC Council of Foreign Minister (CFM). This OIC session is 48th session.

The complete notification of local holidays in Islamabad is given below.

The competent authority has declared Tuesday the 22nd of March 2022 and Thursday the 241h March 2022 as local holidays ln Islamabad on account of the 48th Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).

All Federal Ministries / Divisions along with their Attached Departments and other Organizations/Offices of the Federal Government located in Islamabad shall also remain closed on Tuesday the 22nd March 2022 and Thursday, the 24th March 2022. The above Press Release may kindly be published in all major English and Urdu Dailies both of Notîonol and Regional levels and also be given wide publicity through print and electronic media.

So there are 3 Local holidays in Islamabad as 23rd March 2022 is a public holiday and the other two days are local holidays due to OIC Session 2022.
