Notification of Discontinuation of Fines on Scool Teachers Imposed Under Monitoring Regime
School Education Department (SED) Punjab on Wednesday announced discontinuation of fines being imposed on school teachers under the monitoring regime. SED PUNJAB issued a notification on 30 October 2019 in which it is stated that School Education Department has decided to steer away from excessive
monitoring and focus on school improvement and action management through a new
School Improvement Framework (SIF) which will emphasize incentives rather than fines.
With the approval of the Secretary, School Education Department, directed that all fines under any pretext shall be discontinued with immediate effect.
