PPSC New Policy for clubbing of Tests – One Test for Multiple Posts
PPSC New Policy for clubbing of Tests which means One Test for Multiple Posts has been introduced on 1st June 2022. Keeping in view a large number of candidates applying to PPSC for different posts, the Commission has decided to introduce a policy of clubbing of the tests/examinations. PPSC Regulations, 2016 and Manual of Policy Decisions, 2016 have been amended accordingly.
Main features of PPSC New Policy for clubbing of Tests
The posts may have different or similar nomenclature but should have similar contents/syllabus for test/examinations.
If a candidate is declared as successful in such combined test/examination, he will be considered to have succeeded in the test/examination for all posts combined in that particular test/examination for which he applied. Similarly, if he fails, he will be considered as failed in the test/examination of all such posts combined in that particular test/examination for which he applied.
Successful candidates will be shortlisted for interviews for each post as per existing criteria.
A candidate will pay separate fee against each post applied for as per the existing procedure.
Example of PPSC New Policy for clubbing of Tests
Candidate ‘A’ applied for the post of Junior Clerk in three different departments. As per the existing practice, he is required to appear in three tests separately. According to the new policy, he may be asked to appear in one test for all the three posts of Junior Clerk in different departments as the syllabus for test for the post of Junior Clerk is same.
