According to the news, Punjab Education Department Announced to Celebrate Anti – Dengue Day on 2 July in Schools. In this regard, PED issued a notification and It has been decided to celebrate Anti-Dengue Day on July 2 in government and private schools across Punjab.

On July 2, all teachers’ holidays have been canceled and they have been recalled from the school. The Ministry of Education has issued a notification stating that all schools should be thoroughly cleaned, water leakage should be eliminated, and herbs and grass should be cut.

Anti-dengue walks and seminars should be organized in every District and Tehsil. The Department of Education has been made to act as a vanguard for the complete eradication of dengue.

A few months ago, based on the petition by Punjab Teacher Union, Court gave the verdict that teachers should not involve in any activity like the Polio campaign, etc.
