Punjab Government School Education Department / Head teachers In Primary Schools

Government of Punjab School Education Department issued a notification No.SO(SE-lll)2-16/2007(p-v)

On 30th October 2017 to

All Chief Executive Officers,(DEAs)

The subject of this notification is Head Teacher in Primary School.

It is said that  Primary School are playing a vital role in education sector.

Govt. Of the Punjab School Education Department has launched Parho Punjab Barho Punjab program and efforts are being made to enroll 100% out of school children and ensure their 100% retention.

For all these objectives a  school needs a dynamic and effective management. So it has been decided  that One Primary School Teacher in each Primary School will be officially designated as Head Teacher.

The concerned District Education Officer will notify the Senior Most Primary School Teacher having minimum qualification of graduation, as Head Teacher of that Primary School.
