Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah announced in a press conference that 54 thousand posts are vacant and need to hire the qualified and talented individuals to fill these posts.

CM also announced that Recruitment Policy 2021, also will be revised in order to ease the people getting hired for these posts. In the existing Policy, Muslim candidates need to get at least 55% marks and minorities need to obtain 50% marks in the written test, etc accordingly. But now in the New Recruitment Policy of the Sindh Government for Teachers, Minorities are required to obtain 40% marks while Muslims need to obtain 50% as well. Earlier recruitment was done at the Union Council level, but now it will be done at the Taluka level.

Soon the advertisement will be published in the newspaper for this recruitment. Presently out of 54 thousands posts ,36 thousands are vacant for Primary Teachers and 18 thousand for Junior elementary School Teachers. The CM told that 6783 active schools remained closed due to the unavailability of teachers. 2533 schools have been reopened through the current recruitment process but 4250 schools are still inactive

Through this recruitment, many of the individuals who are unemployed will get the chance to get a Government Job. This is a golden opportunity for the Sindh people. CM also added that Through the current recruitment process, 2,533 schools have been reopened but still 4,250 are without teachers,” he said, adding it had become necessary to revise the Teacher Recruitment Policy-2021 and reduce the passing marks to 40 percent for all candidates. “For differently-abled candidates, the passing marks would remain 33 percent
