70% Attendance has been Declared Mandatory for College Students to Appear in the Examination

Department of Colleges has made it compulsory for students that their attendance must be 70 percent to sit for the exam. A letter has been issued in which it has been said that they are not allowed to sit in their exams if they do not meet the required attendance.

The College Secretary has said that the rule will be applied to all the Government Colleges of the province. According to the sources, the department has also instructed the teachers and principals in the colleges to take steps in this regard and also bind the students.

The Principals and teachers of the Colleges should award the students and make it strict that they must attend the classes and meet the required criteria. Failure to meet the criteria will lead to missing the examinations.

Last Week winter vacations in all medical and nursing institutes were extended. Now all private and public colleges in the province will reopen on 9 January 2023. The decision to extend in winter holidays was taken due to the drop in temperature in the province.
