9 November Iqbal Day Holiday announcement by Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced to observance of a public holiday on the occasion of Iqbal Day on 9th November 2022. The public holiday on Iqbal Day had been suspended for several years.

All schools colleges universities and offices of the public and private sectors will remain closed on Iqbal Day 2022.

Cabinet Division has issued an official notification for Iqbal Day Holiday across all of Pakistan. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is pleased to restore the public holiday on the occasion of Allam Iqbal Day i.e. 9 November. This holiday will be observed as a public holiday throughout the country.
