Punjab School Education Department’s important announcement for Heatwave 2022 is available on Parho Pakistan for public information. Chief Secretary Punjab officially tweeted this notification of heatwave effects in Schools.
This letter is written to all the Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities in Punjab. The subject of this letter is “SEVERE HEAT WAVE CONDITIONS PREDICTED DURING THE NEXT WEEK”.
In this letter, Punjab School Education Department says that kindly find attached herewith a copy of letter No. CR-300/2022 dated 13-05-2022 and No. SO(EP&C)6-5/2022 dated 13-05-2022, received from Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Punjab, containing guidelines measures to be taken in the wake of an expected intense heatwave in the coming days in the country.
You are requested to disseminate directions to lower formation / District supervisory staff and Heads of schools to follow the guidelines as issued by the Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department & PDMA Punjab and awareness be given to students during daily class lectures so as to avoid a surge in cases and control any outbreak. Action taken in this regard may be communicated to this office for information of the Competent Authority.
Furthermore, right now SBA Exams are in process across all of Punjab, therefore, govt can not announce summer vacations but they may be announced after 20th May and before the 25th May.
