Who Can Apply
Every case has its own qualification, experience, age limit and quota, given in the table above. A few general points apply to all cases:
- Your eligibility is counted up to the closing date, 23 November 2026.
- The age limit of each case already carries five years general relaxation in the upper age limit, as printed. Further relaxation is given under the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993, where applicable.
- Government servants must obtain a Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) before applying and must write the DPC reference number in the online application.
- You must have a valid and active email address. FPSC will communicate with candidates through email and SMS only.
- Where a degree equivalence is claimed, an equivalence certificate from HEC or the relevant forum will be required.
How to Apply Online
- Open the FPSC website, fpsc.gov.pk, and go to the online application section for Consolidated Advertisement No. 4/2026.
- Select your case number carefully. Check the post name, scale, department and your domicile quota before you submit.
- Fill the online form with your correct name, CNIC, education, experience and a valid, active email address.
- Generate your PSID on the FPSC online portal and deposit the application fee through 1-Link (ATM, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, over the counter, or other mobile apps) on or before the closing date.
- If you are a government servant, enter your Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) reference number in the form.
- Submit the form before Monday, 23 November 2026. You may edit your online application only once within the closing date to correct any error.
No hardcopy of the online application is required, and no manual application is accepted for General Recruitment cases. The information you claim in the online form is treated as final, and experience claimed later is not accepted.

Documents Required
You do not send documents with the online application. After the test, candidates who are on higher merit positions in their quota will be asked to send attested copies of the following documents to FPSC:
- Two photographs
- Matric and Intermediate certificates
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil and Ph.D degrees, where applicable
- CNIC
- Experience certificates showing the nature of the job and a detailed job description, issued by an authorised officer (where experience is required)
- Domicile certificate
- Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC), for government servants
Keep these documents ready. If a candidate does not send the documents in time, or sends incorrect or incomplete information, the candidature can be rejected.
Selection Process and Test
The written test for Consolidated Advertisement No. 4/2026 is an objective type MCQ screening test. It will be held with effect from 2 January 2027. FPSC will place the syllabus on its website, and the Admission Certificate for the test will be available on fpsc.gov.pk a couple of weeks before the test date. Candidates may also be informed by SMS, but nothing is sent by post.
On the test day, you must bring your original CNIC and the downloaded copy of your Admission Certificate. If a candidate is found with a cell phone or any electronic communication device in the examination hall, he or she will be disqualified from that exam and permanently debarred from all future FPSC examinations. Requests for a change of test centre are entertained only if received within 10 days of the closing date.
