Bank Holidays Announces for Eid-ul-Fitr 2023
According to the State Bank of Pakistan SBP, official notification / circular all banks /DFIs / MFBs will remain closed from 21st April to 25th April 2023.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr all public and private financial institutions, and commercial banks will remain closed from Friday 21 April to Tuesday 25 April. The operation will resume on 26 April Wednesday.
The State Bank of Pakistan SBP urged people to use digital banking like online banking and mobile banking. The use of mobile banking is rapidly increasing in the country with the passage of time.
The bank holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr are a customary practice in Pakistan. The government announced Eid Holidays every year for public and private sectors so people can enjoy the holy festival of Eid with their families.
Earlier Federal Cabinet also approved the Eid holidays from 21 April to 25 April. KPK Government announced Eid holidays from 20 April to 25 April.
