Summer Vacations announcement in all public and private schools of Punjab by School Education Department has been published on 26th May 2022. Punjab School Education Department has announced summer vacations from 1st June 2022 to 31st July 2022.

According to the notification, it is hereby notified that all Public & Private Schools throughout Punjab shall remain dosed w.e.f. 1st June 2022 to 31st July 2022 for summer vacations.

Punjab Govt School Education Department has instructed that Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) and the concerned Heads shall manage the distribution of homework and books to the students during summer vacations.

The District Registering Authority may advise the Private Schools to reduce school timings (i.e., until 11:00 am) from 27 May 2022 to 31st May 2022 with all necessary precautionary measures to protect the children from the heatwave.

But after 31st May all private schools are bound to announce the summer vacations as per the given schedule by the Govt of Punjab School Education Department.

All Deputy Commissioners of Punjab, CEOs of District Education Authorities, Accountant General Punjab, All Schools Heads, and BISE Chairmen are informed about summer vacations in Punjab. They will ensure that all schools follow the summer vacation schedule.
