Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education(FBISE):
The Federal Board of Intermediate &Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad established under FBISE ACT 1975, is an autonomous body of Ministry “Federal Education and Professional Training”. It is empowered with administrative and financial authority to organize, regulate, develop and control Intermediate and Secondary Education in general and conduct examinations in the institutions affiliated with it. Currently, FBISE announced Short Syllabus for SSC-I and SSC-II Exams 2021.
Reason For Shortening Syllabus for SSC – I & SSC – II Exams 2021
We all know that 2020 is one kind of disaster year for the whole world.COVID-19 started at the end of December 2019 and spread in a short time across the World. It affected all sectors of the economy. The education sector also affected and the Government closed all educational institutions in the Country. Around six-month Universities, Colleges and schools remain closed.
It was not possible for students to attend lectures and classes and to cover the set syllabus of their courses. Therefore FBISE Islamabad decided to short the Syllabus of the SSC Examination which will be held in 2021. The purpose of shorting the Syllabus is to reduce the load and give relief to students. In this way, students can focus and get prepare for upcoming exams in an easy way.

Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education(FBISE) also will announce a short syllabus for HSSC very soon. The basic purpose of the shorting syllabus is to make it easy for students to prepare for upcoming exams. Students six month was wasted due to COVID-19 and unable to cover the full syllabus which was set at the start of the session. This step was taken by FBISE appreciated by the whole community and especially students. Students can easily focus on a specific syllabus announced by FBISE.
