Govt Announces to Reimburse Salaries and Pensions Before Eid – Ul- Adha Holidays

Office of the Accountant General Pakistan Revenues announced through a notification to credit the June salaries and pensions before 21-06-2023 on the occasion of the Eid-ul- Adha which is likely to fall on 30 June 2023.

The notification stated that “all cheques pertaining to salary for the month of June 2023, will be issued on or before 21-06-2023 so that the same would be credited in respective bank accounts on or before the Eid- ul – Adha holidays, for withdrawal of salary payable before the Eid.

All DDOs may take extra care in ensuring the timely submission of computer change statements and receipt of cheques. The same instructions will also be applicable to cheques issued for National Assembly, Senate, Supreme Court, Federal Shariah Court, Islamabad High Court, and All SOCs.

Copy of the notification is also forwarded to the drawing and distribution officers, all ministers, divisions, departments, all sub-officers of the AGPR, Federal Treasury Officer, Accounts Officers, DG Pak PWD, and PA to the AGPR / DGPR.

Earlier on the occasion of Eid-ul- Fitr, Government granted advance salaries and pensions to the employees in order to celebrate the event.
