HEC Faculty Appointment Criteria for Professor Associate Professors and Lecturers
The higher education Commission HEC is a statutory body formed by the Government of Pakistan which was established in 2002 under the Chairmanship of Atta-ur-Rahman. Its main functions are funding, overseeing, regulating and accrediting the higher education institutions in the country.
HEC set some Criteria for all the Universities to hire Faculty positions which include Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturers. In order to hire for these positions Universities should follow the HEC Criteria and all applicants must meet these criteria to apply for any position.
