Important Announcement for Summer Vacation & Exams Schedule for Schools by Punjab Govt
Punjab Education department made an important announcement about Summer Vacations and Exams Schedule in the current year of 2022. According to latest announcement Summer vacation will start from 1st of June up to 31 July 2022 ( 2 Months Vacation). The new Academic year for 2022-2023 will start from 1st of August while examinations from Grade 1-8 classes will be conducted from May onwards. This decision was made on 14 March 2022 and notification was issued by Punjab School Education Department. This decision is applicable for both Public and Private Schools.

| Summer Vacations ( 2 Months) | 1st June 2022 – 31 July 2022 |
| New Academic Session ( 2022-2023) | 1st August 2022 |
Earlier in the years normally, Summer vacation consists of 3 Months which were starting from June and last up to August. But in recent years due to Covid – 19 things are changed drastically and as Education Department also got a major impact on the Schedules, now Summer Vacations limited to 2 Months in order to give more times to Education.
The government of Sindh also announced a few days ago the Schedule of Summer Vacations and Exams Schedule. The Sindh Summer Vacations will start from 1st June 2022 to 31st July 2022. Sindh Education and Literacy Department ( SELD) make an announcement in the last week. This decision is applicable to both Public and Private Schools.
