In this article, I will talk about the latest advertisement of the Pakistan Army to join as trained nurses through the Armed Forces Nursing Services ( AFNS). According to the details, the registration for AFNS 2023 will start on 29 May 2023 till 30 June 2023. Female students having 50% marks in FSc ( Pre-Medical) and 60% marks in Matric can apply for AFNS – BSc Nursing. Candidates possessing BSc Nursing ( 4 years) or 3 years diploma and 1-year midwifery are eligible to apply for Trained Nurses as Lieutenant.
Eligibility Criteria to Join Pak Army as Nurse AFNS 2023
For Trained Nurses as Lieutenant ( Female)
- BSc Nursing ( 4 years) OR 3 years diploma and 1-year Midwifery
- Age limit 18-28 years as of 31st December 2023
- Candidates should be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council PNC
- Preference will be given to qualified post-basic specialized courses i.e. ICU, OT, CCU, etc from a hospital/ institute recognized by PNC
- Candidates must hold Pakistan citizenship
- Minimum height 5 feet ( 152.4 cm)
- Weight should be as per the body mass index
For AFNS – BSc Nursing ( Female)
- Matric with Science ( 60% marks) and FSc ( Pre-Medical) minimum 50% marks
- The age limit is 17-25 years as on 31 December 2023
- Candidate should be registered with PNC
- Minimum height 5 feet ( 152.4 cm)
- Weight should be as per the body mass index

Online Application through Internet
Applicants can apply online through the Pakistan Army website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. Online registration is open from 29 May to 30 June 2023.
Registration at Army Selection & Recruitment Centres
Candidates can visit the nearest recruitment centres and can do their registration. Bring all relevant documents in original as well attested copies. The list of the selection and recruitment centres is given below.
