MA/MSc/BS (4 years) degree holders can apply. The degree should be in the following disciplines.

- Management Science
- Geography/ GIS
The age limit is 28 Years maximum.
Details of Corps of Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer (RV&FC) Direct Short Service Commission
DVM or equivalent degree Registered with PVMC. The age limit is 28 years.
Details of Psychologist Officer Direct Short Service Commission
M.Sc Psychology is required. The age limit is 28 years.
Details of Law Officer Direct Short Service Commission
LLB or LLM is required. The age limit is 28 years.
General Requirments Join Pak Army as Captain through DSSC
Male citizens of Pakistan with 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) height.

Minimum 60% marks in the annual system or 2.5 CGPA in science subjects and 50% marks or 2.0 CGPA in Arts subjects from HEC recognized university as a regular student. Minimum CGPA 2 out of 4 or 50% marks in the annual system for Psychology.
Candidates must have attained the entire education (Matric till MA/ MSc/ BS) as regular students.
