New School Timings After Summer Vacations 2023 in Punjab
Summer Vacations in Punjab Schools are going to end on 20th August 2023. There is no news about an extension in summer vacations in Punjab due to the heatwave. Punjab Government has announced the reopening schedule for all public and private schools from 21st August 2023. See Summer Vacations Schedule 2023 for reference.
New School Timings After Summer Vacations 2023 in Punjab
The official notification stat that the following school timings are hereby notified which shall be observed in all Public and Private Schools from 21st August to 15th October 2023.
All schools will start at 7:30 AM and close at 1:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and on Friday all schools will close at 11:30 AM. There can be 15 minutes difference between boys’ and girls’ schools.

The opening and closing time for girls’ schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than the above-mentioned times. It is further added that only 3 study hours will be allocated for pre-nursery and prep will be observed ( till 11:00 AM).
