New School Timings in Punjab 2024 for Winter from October 2024
New School Timings in Punjab 2024 for Winter will be effective from mid of October 17th October 2024 Thursday. Education Minister of Punjab announced new school timings in Winter season across the Punjab.
Punjab School Education Department usually changes the school timings across all of Punjab in the month of October for Winter Season. These timings are effective till 15th April of Next Year which is 2025.
From the previous year’s notifications, it is clear that school timings are changed from 17th October 2024 for all schools of Punjab including private and public.
According to the new school timings , in single shift schools the students’ timing will be from 8:45 AM to 2:30 PM, while the teachers’ timing will be from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. In schools operating a double shift, the first shift will run from 8:15 AM to 12:30 PM, and the second shift will take place from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
There can be little change from the department keeping in view the current situation of the winter season and smog problems in Punjab.
CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif tweeted about the Smog Problem in Punjab During Winter Season. In his tweet, CM Punjab issued a warning to the agriculture sector that they can not burn the waste of crops. Otherwise, Strict action will be taken against them on merit.
Winter Holidays in Schools December 2024
As the new timings for schools are announced during the winter season. The winter holidays will be announced in December 2024 and January 2025.
