PBCC Important announcement for Unlimited Improvement Chances in BISE Boards Exams

Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen PBCC has made an important announcement about the number of chances for improvement of marks.

Now all students of board classes which are 9th,10th,11th and 12th can improve their marks by appearing multiple times in Examinations. Before this notification, there were different rules of improvement, and the number of chances was limited.

Now Students can improve any marks whether they are less than 50% or higher. Furthermore there are no limits to chances for improvement.

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons in its meeting held on 16th, November 2022 discussed it petition No. 52363/2022 submitted by Ms. Nafar Fatima versus Govt of Punjab, vide agenda item No. 2, regarding the Marks Improvement policy.

• The impugned notification No 96-SY/PBCC/LHR, dated 31-03-2022, issued by PBCC regarding restriction on the chances for improvement is hereby rescinded.
• Students will be allowed to avail of as many chances for improvement of scores as they may like.
• This order will take effect from the First Annual Examinations, (SSC & HSSC) 2019 onwards.
