PTA banned Tik Tok over complaints against immoral content

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued instructions for blocking of the application. Keeping in view the complaints and nature of the content being consistently posted on TikTok.
According to the press release, several complaints were made “against immoral/indecent content” that was shared on the app.

It is said that earlier PTA issued a final notification to Tik Tok and gave a considerable time to respond and clarify its position. But Tik Tok is not responding sinc July. Finally Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued instructions for blocking of the application.
