Punjab Adds new Subject for matric and intermediate classes

Punjab boards of Secondary and Intermediate Education have decided to add a new subject for matric and intermediate classes. This new subject is Quran Translation.

Now all BISE boards will conduct a new paper on the Quran Translation subject every year. There will be 50 marks for the Quran Translation paper in the 9th class and 50 marks for the paper in the 10th class. So there is a total of 100 marks added to the total marks of Matric. Now new total marks of 10th class are 1200.

Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board will soon prepare and declare the complete syllabus for the Quran Translation subject.

The below-given notification is of BISE Lahore but all BISE Boards have adopted a new subject.
