Punjab Government Important Announcement for Regularization of Educators SSEs / AEOs
In a recent development, there is good news for the Educators ( SSEs/ AEOs) about their regularization which is pending since 2017. Punjab School Education Department issued notification No. SO)( SE -V/2-2/2014) in connection with the regularization of SSEs/AEOs ( BPS -16).
The notification stated that “Consequent upon the approval of the Secretary School Education Department, the committee is hereby constituted to prepare the SOPs regarding eligibility criteria, checklist and process of verification of testimonials, etc regarding regularization of SSEs / AEOs ( BPS – 16) recruited under the recruitment policy 2014 and subsequent recruitment process.”
The committee consists of a Special Secretary SED, an Additional Secretary ( Schools), a Director of Public Instructions, a Section Officer ( SE -I) SED, and a Section Officer ( Recruitment) SED.
The Committee shall prepare the SOPs regarding eligibility criteria, checklist ( if any), and process of verification of testimonials, etc.
Notification copy is forwarded to DS ( staff) to Chief Secretary Punjab, PSO to the Secretary of School Education, PS to Special Secretary, The Director Public Instruction Punjab, and Section Officer ( SE – I) School Education Department.

Earlier in the previous Government from 2018-2022, the case about the regularization of Educators remained pending and files were moving across the table. More than 14000 Educators are waiting for their future as they are still on contract in spite of many verbal promises. Now if the caretaker Government will regularize these SSEs/ AEOs it will be a great appreciation and value addition.
