Punjab Govt announces holiday in Rawalpindi Schools Colleges and Universities on 17th September 2022.

Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi District has issued a notification for a public holiday in all educational institutes including schools, colleges & universities in Rawalpindi.

In letter, it is said that all Educational Institutes i.e. Universities, Colleges & Schools (Government as well as Private) situated within Municipal limits of Tehsil Rawalpindi excluding Cantonment areas shall remain closed on 17.09.2022 (Saturday) due to Chehlum Procession.

This holiday is for tehsil Rawalpindi but cantt areas will remain open.
