Shan Foods Partners with Allah Waly Trust AWT to Provide Meals for School Children

Allah Wally Trust AWT is a non-profit Organization working on preventing hunger in Pakistan, providing meals to school children under its initiative School khana program( SKP). Under this initiative, AWT is providing lunch meals in Government Schools in Lahore.AWT provides healthy and nutritious food to school students free of cost.
Shan Foods one of the leading names in the food industry also working to achieve the goal of zero hunger in Pakistan.
Shan Foods joined hands with AWT to support its School Khana Program ( SKP) and provide free lunch meals in schools for a year. In the collaboration, the Head of Corporate Communication and PR Shan Food Maria Rashdi share his thoughts and said providing the best quality food is what we stand for.
Our goal is also to provide healthy food to school-going children. So that they get healthy diets along with quality education. She said our aim is to play an important role to build a healthy future for Pakistan through such initiatives.
chairman of AWT Shahid Lone commenting on this partnership said that AWT was founded to serve food to needy people. Our aim is to provide quality food, water, and nutrition to build a healthy nation. He said that under SKP our mission is to have a physically and mentally strong nation and a bright future for Pakistan through this School Khana Program initiative.
He appreciates Shan Food’s contribution towards AWT’s cause and aims to provide healthy and nutritious food free of cost to school children. He described that AWT School Khana Program is one of the first projects of its kind and will be serving 60,000 meals in Primary Schools in Lahore, Islamabad and Gilgit Baltistan.
