Most awaiting and religious event for Muslims “Hajj ” is going to start in the next Two Months. In the last years due to the global pandemics, Hajj was resumed for International pilgrims. This year Saudia Government allowed the other countries for Hajj. Here are the all details about Hajj Quota for Pakistan allowed by Saudia Government.
Pakistan’s Government received a total quota of 81,132 pilgrims this year. According to the Federal Government of Pakistan, 40% of this quota will be for Government and 60% will be for Private Travelers and Tour agencies. The total cost is expected from 7 lac to 10 Lac ( 0.7 m – 1 M) approximately, which will be announced later as a confirmed amount.
How to apply for Hajj 2022
- People who want to apply for Hajj should deposit token money amount of Rs. 50,000- PKR in the designated Banks assigned by the Religious Ministry.
- It is expected that the cost of Hajj this year will be around 7 lac to 10 lac.
- Applications can be submitted from 01 May to 13 May.
- The rest of the procedure will be the same, applications received to Ministry with token amount will be secretin by Ministry and people will be selected through the withdrawal process.
- The person whose Hajj application will be accepted will deposit the remaining amount in the relevant Bank.
- only 32452 pilgrims will be allowed to go for Hajj on the Government quota. ( 40% of total quota).

Hajj 2022 Quota for private Sector
The private sector like Hajj and umrah Travel and Tour agents and agencies are getting quotas from Government and people who are not eligible under the Government scheme, can apply through the private sector. Pilgrims who are going through private agents, have to arrange their accommodation and transportation by themselves. This year Government issued 60% of the total quota to the private sector. So a total of 48679 people can go for Hajj through private agencies.

40 % quota is granted to Government this year. It means that only 32452 pilgrims can perform Hajj on the Government quota. Under the Government quota, pilgrims are entitled to accommodation and transportation throughout the Hajj period from Pakistan Government.

Expected Cost for Hajj 2022
This year according to the Ministry of Religious affairs cost of Hajj will be from 7 lac to 10 lac ( 0.7m – 1m). Due to an increase in the cost of services and taxes by the Saudi government, an increment is expected in the Hajj expenses. Ministry said that the Saudi Hajj ministry used to provide guidelines and expenditures in advance but due to COVID-19, the details of Hajj expenses were being awaited.
Hajj 2022 Application Submission Dates
The ministry announced in a press conference that applications for Hajj will start on 1 May and will close on 13 May 2022. People can deposit their token money of Rs. 50,000/- in the designated Banks. Mostly all major Banks like HBL, NBP, MCB, and UBL are receiving the Hajj 2022 applications.
