All Public and Private Schools and other institutions will remain closed in Lahore tomorrow 11 March 2023. The Local holiday is announced tomorrow on account of the Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain ( R.A).

This holiday will be only in Lahore District and surrounding offices.

Punjab Government S & GAD issued a notification for the Announcement of a Local Holiday on 11 March 2023 in the Lahore district. According to the notification, a local holiday will observe in the Lahore district and its subordinates’ offices on 11 March ( Saturday) on account of the ” Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain ( R.A) “.

Other than the Lahore district, all public offices in the province will be open and operate their daily activities and operations.

The annual URS celebration of Hazrat Shah Hussain popularly known as Madhu Lal Hussain held at his shrine, Baghbanpura every year. Qawal and Naat Khawan present religious poetry during the Urs days. Free langar also arranged for the devotees. Auqaf department and the local police arrange foolproof security for religious occasions.
