Education Minister Warns Management Against Closing Private Schools
Despite the statewide turmoil, Sindh Education Department continues the schools and exams schedule. There are some private schools whose management did not obey the instructions and announced a holiday due to the ongoing law and order situation in the Country.
Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah has issued a strong statement against the closing of private schools in the Province. According to his statement, private schools must adhere to the Government’s instructions and continue their educational activities without any interruption.

He instructed his team that revoke the registration of schools that continue closing the schools without any proper justification.
Shah also stated that all public and private schools will continue their educational operations and exams will conduct as per schedule. Matric exams will not be postponed.
On the other hand in Punjab, where the situation is worst, the Government postponed matric exams. British Council also canceled the Cambridge exams which were scheduled on 10 May. Council announced that now they will not conduct that particular paper again, and marks will be given to students based on the other paper marks.
The Secondary School examinations in Sindh have already been completed. To monitor the process, the Board of Secondary Education’s secretary and controller of examinations visited various examination centers.
