SNGPL will provide LPG Cylinders Home Delivery to Islamabad and Rawalpindi

The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company (SNGPL) has announced that they will provide the home delivery of LPG Cylinders to customers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The price of LPG Cylinders by SNGPL will be decided after registrations.

This decision is based due to shortage of Sui Gas in the upcoming winter season. In the winter season, the consumption of Gas is increased with the more usage of geysers and heaters.

Those who live near the Sui Gas office will get free LPG Cylinders and those who live further away from Sui Gas Offices will get with delivery chargees.

Sui Gas Company has purchased 100,000 cylinders which will be distributed in different areas of Lahore and Rawalpindi based on needs.

The Minister of Energy Mossadeq Malik has said that this time the country does not have enough gas to deliver to the people, therefore LPG cylinders have been purchased.

In the winter season, when the consumption of gas will increase, local dealers will also increase the price of their gas cylinders, to solve this the government has decided to give people their own LPG Cylinders.

The procurement of LPG Cylinders is in Process by SNGPL and the registration for LPG Cylinders will be started at the end of October 2022.

SNGPL has entered into LPG business initially as distributor of Sui Southern LPG Limited (SLL). As a distributor, SNGPL will be initially distributing 100,000 LPG cylinders in the cities of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad and Gujranwala. SNGPL will adhere to the highest quality and safety standards and will provide guaranteed quantity at a controlled price thereby discouraging the black marketing.
