Ex-Chief Minister Accuses Ministers of Selling Govt Jobs

According to the news, the former Chief Minister of Balochistan Jamal Kamal Khan has accused the ministers and Government Officers of the incumbent Balochistan Govt of selling jobs in different departments and receiving huge amounts of money from the candidates.

Mr. Jamal Kamal said that concerned departments received a huge amount of money from the candidates. He add that for peon and driver posts Rs 1.5m was received and Rs. 4m for the post of stenographer.

He said that ministers and officers running S & GAD must know about this wrongdoing and he wondered whether the candidates getting these posts after paying huge money would be employees or investors.

The people are trying to arrange such huge amounts through loans for getting a job. He said that concerned authorities must take notice of this wrongdoing and stop the killing of merit in the province.

However the parliamentary Secretary for Services and General Administration Department ( S & GAD) Bushra Rind has denied and rejected this false allegation and challenged Mr. Kamal to come up with proof. She said that Balochistan Government believes in merit for recruitment in all posts.

Bushra Rind strongly reacted to the allegations and said if the former chief minister has any proof, he should come forward with it. She added that such wrong allegations disappointed the talented youth and make the recruitment process suspicious. She said that the provincial Government ensures the recruitment of talented youth on merit.

Ms. Rind stated that currently, the coalition Government created 800 new posts in the S & GAD to provide jobs to the educated youth. The process of recruitment is going on in other departments also.

The Chief Minister made 1500 contractual teachers and 360 temporary employees of the C & W department by restoring trade in the border areas. The employment of the people is protected, said Bushra Rind.

She added that the accuser’s aim is to achieve the desired results by pressuring the recruitment process. They cannot tolerate that the credit of giving employment to the people was also given to Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qadoos Bizenjo.
