Punjab University Awarded Ph.D. degrees to Five Scholars
Punjab University Lahore PU awarded Ph.D. Degrees to five Scholars in different subjects after the approval of their thesis. According to the news, Madiha Mumtaz D/o Mumtaz Ahmad was awarded a Ph.D. degree in the subject of Biological Sciences (Specialization in Biochemistry), her approved thesis is on ‘Identification of Protein Markers In Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (OSCC)’.
The second Scholars named Sabahat Sana D/o Chaudary Sana Ullah in the subject of Home Economics (Housing Home Management and Interior Design), her approved thesis is titled as ‘Effect Of Computer Work Station Ergonomics on Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorder in Software Houses of Lahore’.
The third participant was Sobia Kiran D/o Muhammad Tariq in the subject of Education. Her approved thesis topic is ‘Impact of Blended Learning on Developing Creative Thinking Skills Through Flipped Classroom Among University Students’.
Seemab Far Bukhari D/o Syed Sarfraz Ahmed was awarded the degree in the subject of Communication Studies. Her thesis is entitled ‘Religiosity And Music Liking: A Comparative Study of Muslim Listeners In US And Pakistan’.
And the last Scholar named Fatima Yousuf Dar D/o M Yousuf Dar was awarded a Ph.D. degree in the subject of Zoology. Her approved thesis is entitled ‘New Mammalian Remains From The Pabbi Hills of The Upper Siwaliks, Pakistan’.
All Scholars who were awarded Ph.D. degrees are female. There are no male Scholars who received a Ph.D. degree recently.
