Finance Ministry and Budgetary Experts all Set to Finalize Budget Targets for FY 2022-23
The Finance Ministry is finishing a spending plan focused on the following financial year to introduce in the National Assembly on 10 June 2022. According to the latest news from Capital, Islamabad Finance Ministry is settling a financial plan focused to introduce in the NEC meeting which will be held one week from now under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister in Islamabad. Finance Ministry will present the Budget FY 2022-23 on 10th June in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
The Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) target is probably going to be set at Rs. 700 billion in the gathering of the Annual Plan Coordination Committee (APCC) which will be held on 4 June 2022 in Islamabad. Deputy Chairman Planning Commission will be headed by this meeting. According to the news, experts and authorities are thinking about setting the GDP development rate around 5% for the following financial year. The GDP development rate might dial back in the event that Pakistan acknowledges extreme states of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the restoration of the slowed-down advance program.
It is forecasted that may be country will get $32 billion from the exports of commodities and goods during the next fiscal year. The imports of the Country might be narrowed down from $75 billion to $67 billion. Budget makers also expect that the remittances from overseas employees may be touched $30 billion in the next fiscal year of 2022-23. The Finance Ministry also set the targets of Interest and debt payments that would be around Rs. 3523 billion. The Federal Board of Revenue also planning to set a target of Rs. 7.2 trillion tax collection in the next fiscal year. To achieve the target FBR also considers different Tax proposals.
Miftah Ismail, Finance Minister of Pakistan also said that they know the current situation of the economy and public. They are emphasizing to present a Pro Budget and trying to minimize the burden on the Public.
