Notification for Conveyance Allowance for Teachers During Holidays

The government of Punjab, School Education Department ( SED) issued a notification regarding conveyance allowance for teachers during holidays.

In the notification, it is stated that the conveyance allowance may not be deducted from all civil servants under the law and rules. The School Education Department Punjab never asked to stop/deduct the payment of the Conveyance Allowance to civil servants during vacations.

The employees of the Education Department remain on call for any duty assigned to them during the vacations. They are not granted summer/winter vacations on demand, so they are entitled to payment of conveyance allowance during the vacations.

It is further requested that conveyance allowance not be deducted from the pay of the employees who have been called for duty during vacations.
