Online Fee Payment for Passport Acquisition Start in Karachi
An online fee payment facility for obtaining a passport has been started in Karachi. According to the news, citizens will not have to stand in a long queue at the bank while paying the fee. Caution and banners to guide the applicants in the relevant national bank branches are displayed.
Applicants have started payment of fees through the mobile app and web portal app. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and the App called Passport Fee Asan for online fee payment. The app introduces a simple all-step procedure for fee payment. According to the details, citizens can complete the payment based on their photo and credentials, sitting at home instead of standing in long queues at the bank.
Fee payment was introduced in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Lahore through the app. Fees can be paid through easy paisa link of bank account ATMs through the app. These percentage payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
How to Apply for a Passport

- Original Bank Paid Fee Challan (receipt) of the prescribed fee.
- Original Valid CNIC/NICOP with a photocopy.
- Previous Passport in original with its photocopy, (if issued).
- NOC in case of a Government Servant.
- Foreign Passport along with its photocopy, for Dual-Nationals only.
