Pakistan Govt Initiatives to Tackle Inflation and Save Fuel and Electricity

The Federal Government of Pakistan decided to take some initiatives to Tackle Inflation and Save Fuel and Electricity. These steps are going to take in the current Economics and Energy crisis in the Country. Parho Pakistan list these step below.

50% Reduction in Vehicles in the Security Squad For PM and Federal Ministers

Govt decided to reduce the Security Squad vehicles up to 50% which are assigned to the Prime Minister and Federal ministers of the Cabinet. In this regard, fuel quantity can be saved.

40% Reduction in Petrol Allowance for Cabinet and Government Employees

Cabinet Members and Government Institutions employees who are entitled to Petrol Allowance, Their allowance will be reduced by 40% reduction. This step is also will save energy and Fuel in the current economic situation.

Saturday Holiday Restore to Save Energy and Petrol

Earlier when PM Shehbaz Sharif took the oat he ordered to work for 6 days, but now again to save electricity and fuel Government announced the Saturday holiday restoration. In this way, Electricity and Fuel consumption can be minimized.

Banned On Sales & Purchase of Vehicle

The sale and purchase of new vehicles have been banned in order to save fuel consumption. However, Ambulance, Buses for Educational Institutions, and other Utility vehicles for Public benefits are exempted from this rule.

Banned on Unnecessary International Tours of Government Officers

Government Officers will not go for International tours which are not much important. usually, when Officers go abroad on Government expenses, it cost a huge to the treasurer.

No More Abroad Treatment on Government Expenses

Officers and Ministers cannot go abroad for treatment for any disease which is funded by Government. If anyone wants to go for treatment he has to go at his own expense. Some more steps taken by Government are listed below.

  • Banned on Purchases of Furniture for Public Offices.
  • Vacant and Unnecessary Posts in Departments canceled.
  • Online Sessions and Meetings for Government Officials
  • 10% Reduction in Gas Electricity and water Budget for all Public Offices
  • Banned on Purchases of ACs, Fridges, Photocopy machines, and other items for Public Offices.
  • Banned on Purchases of Newspaper and Magazines for Public Offices.
