Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), is a state-owned enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, Government of Pakistan. PMDC is seeking applications from qualified and energetic individuals to fill the vacant positions.
Vacant Position:
Deputy General Manager (Admin & Security)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Security Management, Public Administration, or a related field, or a Master’s degree from a Higher Education Commission recognized University.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in administration and security management.
- The candidate should be a retired Army Officer not below the rank of Colonel.
Age:
- Maximum 55 years.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the administrative department.
- Develop, implement, and monitor administrative policies and procedures.
- Ensure efficient office management, including maintenance of office equipment and transport facilities.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and ensuring their continuous development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations and support service delivery.
- Oversee travel arrangements, accommodation, and event planning for staff.
- Prepare and manage the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Security:
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures at corporate as well as project levels.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, etc.).
- Manage security staff, training, and performance evaluation.
- Liaison with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets.
- Conduct regular security drills and training sessions for employees.
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Maintain updated records of security-related incidents and actions taken.
