Pre-Monsoon Rains Forecast from the Evening of June 15 Wednesday to 23 June Thursday
According to the Meteorological Department, Humid Airs will enter the upper parts of our Country from June 15 ( Evening / Night) from the Arabian Sea.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the Monsoon rains will start on 15 June and will remain until 23 June 2022. It will affect all parts of the country.
Kashmir / Gilgit Baltistan
In Kashmir and GB the Bhimer, Kotli, Mirpur, Ponch, Bagh, Hawali , Haitian , Muzafarabad, Neelam Vally, Astore, Ghazar, Gilgit, Diamar, Hunza, and Skardu will get the rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.
Punjab / Islamabad
Rain is expected in Islamabad Rawalpindi Murree Attock Chakwal Jhelum Mianwali Sargodha Khushab Hafizabad Mandi Bahauddin Sialkot Narowal Lahore Sheikhupura Faisalabad Jhang Toba Tek Singh between 16 to 21 June. Meanwhile, intermittent winds and thundershowers are expected in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addu, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Okara, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
On June 16 evening or night and on June 17 Rawalpindi Islamabad Jhelum Gujranwala Sialkot Lahore Kasur and Sheikhupura may receive heavy rains due to which there is a risk of Urban Flooding in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Khyber Pakhtunkhawa
Intermittent showers with thundershowers are expected from June 15 to 22 in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Swabi, Nowshera, Karam, Kohat, Waziristan, Lakki Marwat, Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan.
Balochistan
Rain with thunderstorms is expected in Sibi Bolan Naseerabad Jalmaksi Mastung Barkhan Ziarat Zoab Quetta Kalat Khuzdar Chaman and Harnai from 17 June to 20 June 2022.
Sindh
The weather is likely to be hot and dry in most areas of the Province while dusty winds are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, and Larkana from 17 June to 19 June and rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.

- The possibility of a reduction in the recent heat wave
- Crops, vegetables, and orchards are expected to improve water availability
- Strong winds and thunderstorms threaten to damage structures in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Islamabad Punjab Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir
- Heavy Rains threaten landslides in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while floods in eastern Balochistan
