Private Educational Institutes Force Students to Attend on-Campus Classes during Summer Vacations

According to the news, many private schools in Lahore are forcing the School students to attend the on-campus classes during the scorching heat. Although there is a summer vacation break from 1 June to 31 July.

According to the details, children are required to attend on-campus classes. On the other hand, Lahore District Education Authority (DEA ) has turned a blind eye to the illegal practice.

 Note that DEA earlier announced that there are no class sessions that will be held during summer vacation otherwise a fine of Rs. 25000 will be imposed.

But now many Private schools are forcing the children to attend the classes. District Education Authority (DEA )only issued notice to the Private Schools.

Punjab Government announced two-month Summer Vacations in all Private and Public schools and colleges in the last week of May 2022. The summer vacations started on 1st June and will end on 31 July 2022. The new session will start on 1st August 2022.

Earlier this month Private Schools started online classes for children. Parents protest against this act that it will affect the children’s eyes and mental health to use more mobiles in order to attend the online classes. Parents call the Provincial government to take necessary actions against violating its order during summer vacations.
