The Punjab government has launched a program called Nigehban Ramzan Package to deliver ration bags to deserving individuals in the Multan division. Commissioner Maryam Khan of Multan division announced that over nine lac deserving people in the division will receive ration bags at their doorstep.
Eligibility Criteria for the Nigehban Ramzan Package
Applicants must meet the following criteria for the Nigehban package.
- Poverty Score should be less than 30 percent
- Living below the poverty line
- Less than 60000 income
- No international travel history
- Absence of vehicle registered in the applicant’s name
Ineligibility for Nigehban Ramzan Package
- Income exceeds more than 60 thousand
- Vehicle registered under applicant name.
- Owner of land
- Poverty scores more than 30 percent
- Hajj or Umrah performance in life.
Nigebhan Ramzan Package Online Registration
Applicants seeking for this package registration, an online registration portal has been established under the Nigehban Free Ita Scheme. To register, follow the below steps.
- Visit the official website which is specific to the Nigehban free Atta scheme.
- Provide accurate details including CNIC number, name, contact number, and other credentials.
- The registration process will go under review for approval or rejection.
- Upon verification and eligibility, you will be provided with a free Ehsaas Rashan Riayat and three bags of 10 kg flour through utility stores.
Quality Assurance by Punjab Food Authority
The Punjab Food Authority is responsible for ensuring the quality of all food items included in the ration bags. Each ration bag has a QR code that will be scanned from the recipient’s identity card.
In case of any issues or if the concerned person is absent during delivery, individuals can contact the Assistant Commissioner’s office for assistance. The verification of deserving recipients has been completed through the Benazir Income Support Programme and Nadra data.
What will be included in Ration Bags?
The ration bags contain essential items such as 10 kg flour, 2 kg sugar, 2 kg flour, and 2 kg rice. Multan district will have 3,37138 beneficiaries, Khanewal district 216765, Wahari district 234169, and Lodhran district 136840.
