Punjab School Education Department Announces Celebration of Jashan – E – Baharan

In an official notification, Punjab School Education Department Announces the Celebration of Jashan – E – Baharan in Public Schools across the Province. The competent authority is directed to follow the activities related to the Jashan -e- Baharan.

Plantation drive in schools under the slogan of “one child one plant”. In this scheme, students will engage in plantation and the respective plant will be named after the student concerned who will look after the plant.

16th March 2023 will be celebrated as Cultural Day and students will encourage to attend the schools in traditional and cultural clothing.

From 12 March – 16 March, different activities like flower shows, debates, cultural activities, dramas, funfair, etc would be held across Punjab. The examination schedule during these activities will not suffer.

The aim of the celebration of this event is to promote cultural and traditional values among the students. Interacting with them with their core traditional and Province culture.
