All Banks Will Remain Closed for 3 Consecutive Days

The State Bank of Pakistan SBP announced that all banks will remain closed on December 25, 2023 (Monday) being a public holiday on the occasions of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, as declared by the Government of Pakistan.

According to the Notification and Circular of SBP, all Banks will remain closed on Monday 25th December 2023. 23rd December 2023 is Saturday and the 24th is Sunday which are already off days for banks. In this scenario, there will be 3 consecutive holidays in banks.

People are advised to complete their banking tasks tomorrow on Friday because after that they have to wait till Tuesday. There will be a heavy public rush on Tuesday after these three holidays.

The cabinet division has also notified the Public Holidays 2024 in which 25th December is Quaid e Azam Day and Christmas Day and it is a notified holiday by the Government of Pakistan. Note that 1st January 2024 Monday will be a bank holiday.
