All Govt Officers will Donate One Day of their monthly salary to the PM Relief Fund for Turkey and Syria. According to an official notification, all Officers in BPS-17 and above will donate their 1-day salary to Prime Minister Relief fund for earthquake victims of Turkey and Syria.

Govt of Pakistan has established a fund namely ” Prime Minister Relief Fund for Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Victims”. The purpose is to extend the maximum support to the Turkish and Syrian Governments and the people to help them cope with the destruction caused by the Earthquake.

The cabinet has been pleased to direct that All Ministers, ministers of State, Advisors, and all SAPMS will donate one month’s salary to the PM relief fund. Government Servants in BPS – 17 and above including the ones working in the MP scale and other special Government scales shall contribute one day’s salary to the PM Relief Fund.

Here is the Official Notification

The amount of contribution shall not be included in the emoluments of the officers concerned for the calculation of income tax and deduction of the recovery of the house rent charges.

All proceeds received in the name of the fund will be credited to the public accounts of the Federal Government under the given head account.
