Historic Background of Faisalabad BISE in Nut Shull:
Faisalabad board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was established on 1988 and governed under the Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act,1976.
BISEFaisalabad is an autonomous institution with the power to make rules and regulations. Board is not getting any fund or grant from the Government of Punjab and even not from any semi-Government agency. BISE Faisalabad is generating its revenue through the levy of examinations and other fees.
The jurisdiction of BISE Faisalabad include four districts which are given as follows.
- Faisalabad District
- Jhang District
- Toba Tek Sing District
- Chiniot District
The above-mentioned districts are under BISE Faisalabad jurisdiction and students belong to these districts have to apply their Matric/Intermediate exams through Faisalabad BISE.
Why BISE Faisalabad was established:
Board of Intermediate and Secondary education Faisalabad was established in 1988. Faisalabad is the 3rd largest city of Pakistan by population-wise. With an increase in the statistics of the number of students enrolling for SSC/HSSC exams Faisalabad BISE playing a vital role. The main functions of BISE Faisalabad are to conduct smooth SSC/HSSC exams for students and issued the certificate to passed students. Apart from this to provide data/information of SSC/HSSC exam candidates to Government.
There are a number of Schools/ Colleges/ Universities established by the Government in order to provide quality education to the Faisalabad community. The famous Agriculture University named the Agriculture University of Faisalabad is one of the biggest Agriculture universities in Pakistan providing a variety of programs in Agriculture field.
