Historic background of BISE DG Khan in Nut Shull:
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education DG Khan was established in 1989. The Board is an autonomous institution with powers to make rules. It does not receive any grant-in-aid or any donation from the Government or other semi Govt. agency. It has to generate its own funds through the levy of examinations and other fees.
Functions of BISE DG Khan is to conduct smooth examinations for SSC/HHSC. Register new students for appearing in exams and providing data/information of SSC/HSSC exams candidates to Government.
Why BISE DG Khan was established:
DG Khan is the 19th largest city in Pakistan by the population. DG Khan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was established in 1989 in order to provide quality education to people of DG Khan and to provide one platform to students of SSC/HSSC.
Number of Schools/colleges and univrsities were establsihed in order to provide education on door step to DG Khan people.Some of famous colleges and universtiies are given below.

The above-mentioned Colleges and universities were established with help of the Government and the purpose of these all institutes is to provide quality education to DG Khan Urban and rural students. Education plays a vital role in the growth of the country.
