Dubai Schools Timings for Ramadan Officially Announced
The Holy Month of Ramadan is likely to begin on 23 March in UAE as per the International Astronomical Centre (IAC). Moreover, the Emirates Astronomical Society (EAS) also aligns with the same date by IAC.
Before Ramadan start, The Knowledge and Human Development Authority ( KHDA) has announced instructions and new timings for schools during the month of Ramadan.

According to the notification, schools must give a maximum of five hours of classes and end before 12 PM on Friday for prayer. fasting students should also not participate in Physical Education classes if requested.

In addition revision and homework will also be decreased in order to not overburden fasting students. Office timings of public and private offices will also be reduced from 8 hours to 6 hours in UAE.
The Holy month of Ramadan will start on Thursday 23 March according to the chairman of EAS Ibrahim Al Jarwan. Eid -ul- Fitr will fall on 21 April Friday.
