Federal Directorate of Education Changes the Dress Code in Colleges and Schools. In a recent development after Winter vacations Federal educational institutions issued a notification regarding the dress code change for schools and colleges in Islamabad.
The Federal Directorate of Education FED issued a notification to relax the uniform policy in all private and public Educational Institutions operating under its jurisdiction. This decision has been taken to prevent the students from the severe cold wave in Islamabad.
Under the new policy students can wear any warm cloth/jacket/coat/blazer /sweater in the month of January and February 2023. All Private Educational Institutions ( PEIs) in Islamabad are requested to follow this new uniform policy to protect the kids and students from severe cold weather.
In addition, the Federal Directorate of Education ( FDE) also issued a notification about the timings of the Schools and Colleges in the Capital. According to the notification, all Schools under the Federal Directorate of Education will follow the below timings until further orders.
For Single Shift Institutions | 08:30am -02:30pm ( Mon-Thu) 08:30 am -12:30 pm ( Friday) |
For Double Shift Institutions ( Morning) | 08:30am -02:30pm ( Mon-Thu) 08:30 am -12:30 pm ( Friday) |
For Double Shift Institutions ( Evening) | 01:30 pm – 07:00 pm ( Mon – Thu) 02:30 pm – 07:00 pm ( Friday) |
For pre -I ( Montessori /Prep) | 08:30 am – 12:30 pm ( Mon – Friday) |
Schools & Colleges Timings in Islamabad
A harsh cold wave hit the Country. A drop in temperature significantly is expected in most areas of Pakistan. Karachi weather is also expected to drastically change in the coming days. Snowfall is also expected on Margalla Hills in the Capital.
Due to this cold weather reason, Islamabad announced new School timing for winter. All Public and private Educational Institutions must adhere the new school timings in Islamabad.
