Govt announces Relaxation for Winter Dress in all schools of Punjab

Punjab Government School Education Department has made an important announcement for the winter months dress code. Department has instructed that students can wear any jacket, sweater, socks, shoes, and caps, etc during January and February 2023.

No School can force the students to wear only specific color sweaters, jackets, shoes, socks and caps, etc. So all students of public and private schools are allowed to wear anything to keep save them from the cold.

The official notification says that Consequent upon approval of the Competent Authority, all public and private schools in the province of Punjab are instructed to relax their uniform policy.

Students may be allowed to wear any sweater/blazer/coat/jacket/cap sock, shoes, etc. in the months of January and February 2023, to keep them warm and protect them from cold weather.

All public and private schools are directed to ensure compliance in letter and spirit.
