Punjab Schools Academic Session Extended up to 31st May 2022 Official Notification

Punjab Schools Academic Session Extended up to 31st May 2022. Official Notification is released on 19th February 2022 by Punjab School Education Department.

In this notification, it is mentioned that in partial modification of this department’s notification of even no. dated 10 March 2021, the Academic Session for the year 2021-2022 is hereby extended from 31st March 2022 to 31st May 2022 (this dispensation is only for the current academic session).

Note: – The next academic session shall start w.e.f. 01.08.2022 to 31.03.2023.

This notification tells us that this year i.e. 2022 the academic session was planned till 31st March 2022 but due to Covid-19 conditions it is now extended up to 31st May 2022. But this extension is just for this year.

The next academic session i.e 2022-2023, will start from 1st August 2022 and will end on 31st March 2023.
